Stop met NoScript gevaarlijke java scripts, die ongewild in je firefox browser worden uitgevoerd. Deze firefox add-on is standaard zo ingesteld, dat java scripts worden geblokkeerd. Alleen met jouw toestemming worden deze toegelaten op websites welke je vertrouwt. Met NoScript worden tevens o.a. java applets en flash geblokkeerd. De XSS-Bescherming behoedt je voor ongewilde veiligheidslekken door programmeer fouten van website ontwerpers. NoScript is als uitbreiding niet alleen voor Firefox, maar ook voor de Mozilla-Suite, SeaMonkey en Flock te installeren.
Met firefox in combinatie met NoScript surft je veiliger op het Internet. In het begin zul je even wat werk hebben om de sites welke je vertrouwt toestemming te geven om javascript te gebruiken. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan online bankieren.
N.B. Om de uitbreiding te installeren, moet je de download met firefox openen.
